LEXUS RENEWS QUALITY AUTOMOTIVE AUDITS CONTRACT WITH RETAIL ACTIVE

Premium car makers Lexus have agreed a renewed deal with leading research specialist, Oxfordshire-based Retail Active, to help maintain and improve their retail operating standards at the 52 prestigious Lexus Centres within the UK.
Retail Active’s Director, Julian Chamberlain said: “In the current economic environment, this is a very important strategic move by Lexus.
“Astute companies realise that top quality standards are an essential ingredient in their continued success.
“Too many companies think they can cut costs by reducing their levels of quality and presentation. This is false economy. Keeping customers happy and winning over new ones has never been more important.
“Lexus are justly proud of the reputation of their cars and we are being employed to help the company ensure that the quality, appearance and efficiency of its network match up to their high standard.”
Commenting, Iain McCall - National Manager, Lexus Network Development said
“We appointed the team, led by Julian Chamberlain and Janet Westwood, to work with our Centre network from Q2 2008.
“It was immediately apparent that Retail Active were clear leaders by a considerable margin.
“One year on, the programme continues to go from strength to strength. The audit team quickly gained credibility with our Centre Managers and as a consequence, tangible improvements in facilities management and brand representation has been made.
“The strengths of the Retail Active operation are knowledge, enthusiasm, professionalism, attention to detail, speed of response and our programme is consistently driven by tried and tested processes and systems.”
The deal is helping Retail Active to boost its own trading figures. Turnover rose by 23% in the year to May 31st- bucking the trend in the recession.
As well brand auditing Retail Active, which was founded in 2000, provides leading Mystery Shopping services for prestigious clients in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors.
