Audit Development Process

The most important part of any Audit Programme is the planning and development stage. Considering the programme fully, in a detailed and structured way is absolutely critical to the future success of the project.

By building on our extensive experience we have developed our very own Audit Project Development Process. Using this process helps guide both clients and ourselves through the important stages of establishing the project to exacting standards, on time and to budget.

Stage One - Introduction

We seek to understand the parameters of the project, the timetable and budget, together with any potential barriers to success.

Whether we are talking on the phone for the first time or have made an appointment to meet with you, this first opportunity to discuss your requirements in outline helps us understand your expectations.

Stage Two - Project Team

Once we have an outline understanding of your requirements we assign a project development team to work with you and assist at all stages of making the project a success.

We seek to do as much of the legwork as possible, making the process of implementing your new Audit Programme as painless as possible. You will have your own Project Team Manager to call on at any time, their objective is to make your Audit Project “the best it can possibly be”.

Stage Three - Research

To ensure we can provide a credible and knowledgeable service it’s important that we fully understand the intricacies within our clients sector.

Conducting initial research at this stage helps to determine appropriate evaluation methods and add early value to the future success of the programme.

We always take time to research our client’s and their industry to ensure we are knowledgeable about trends, corporate culture, legislative changes as well as competitor activity.

Stage Four – Initial Audit Development

At this stage of the project we will ask for a briefing meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to capture all of the business critical aspects that your Audit Project needs to incorporate.

We guide you through suggested audit question evaluation and criteria. In simple terms “evaluations” should emulate training and best practices and “criteria” should be actions and conditions people already know they should be achieving.

Stage Five – IT and Audit Reportage Development

Following your confirmation to engage us we will develop your bespoke online reporting system. This powerful reporting software is developed specifically for you and is available 24/7.

As soon as you have approved the Audit Programme evaluation and criteria our IT department will help upload the programme into your online portal.

Not only will your reportage programme provide drill down options to every minute detail, it is also presented in your corporate colours and branding.

Stage Six - Programme and System Testing

At this stage we consider if there is anything else that should be incorporated to make the programme as future proof as possible. Your Project Team Manager will induct you to the functionality of the system and show you how to get the most from the online reportage options and features.

To ensure the Audit Programme is free from any potential bugs we perform a test audit to check that the process and scoring is working accurately. We also conduct a thorough internal quality-checking process to ensure that the everything is reporting and working, as it should.

Stage Seven - Team Selection and Education

We carefully select and train only the best Auditors and Assessors. All of our team are trained to operate proactively and with empathy. We like to look for the good in things wherever possible and do not employ anyone with a “police state mentality”!

Having the right peple properly inducted and trained on the fine details of the client’s project is essential. For each project all of our team members and assessors are inducted to the programme and tested to ensure they fully understand what is expected of them.

As part of our quality assurance processes and procedures, every evaluation is proof read “twice” before it is published. Every team member is monitored and coached to bring the success of your Audit Programme to life.

Stage Eight - Launch

Only when everything is absolutely spot on and ready to go do we launch the Audit Programme.

We are passionate about delivering an outstanding service and will keep you informed of any notable findings as we progress through the first few days. Often this can be examples of outstanding service received or maybe areas of concern that may need management attention.

Stage Nine – Programme Analysis

Using our powerful web based Audit Reportage software we begin to identify emerging trends and analysis. We can view information in incredible detail and develop custom online reportage to examine the results against the project success measures.

This in-depth reporting option enables us to produce precise, timely and factual intelligence. This “state of the nation” business intelligence enables you to make the correct strategic decisions for your business.

Stage Ten - Presentation and Executive Reporting

At the end of each Audit Programme round we always offer to meet with our clients and stakeholders to present our findings. We will present your business intelligence via the online reporting programme and share will you any particularly important or interesting facts and emerging trends

To help make life as simple as possible your Project Team Manager will present a monthly Executive Summary. The summary will illustrate the most critical information and opportunities into an easily understandable and digestible document.

Often the reporting highlights previously unexposed weaknesses and strengths, enabling our clients to develop strategic actions to enhance business performance and success.

Stage Eleven – Review and Improve

Behind the scenes we will be analysing and reviewing ways to improve our service to you and in turn the quality of your Audit Programme.
